THE REPORT

In the present report, I will present my fieldwork experience (which consisted of an observation) in the kindergarten called "el pinar”  of the San Joaquín commune." This visit was made with the aim of achieving an approach to the educational reality; know the characteristics of the same, establishing contact with the school environment and the institutional life that participates in an important way in the development of children.
This work is done by presenting ourselves at the institution, with prior permission from the director of the establishment, where we record this experience in a notebook, in which we write in a table following the format that established an observation schedule, the description of our subjectivity as observers, the description of the facts and the initial hypotheses, this is called Field Note.
The good points of the observation were that we were able to enter the field of development of the children by being able to observe the activities that the children were doing in the garden, but, as a bad point of the observation and the field work, the children had a different predisposition to the one they have daily with their teachers when they were in our presence, as a new stimulus in the classroom.
Despite the above, the observation we made in the garden was very useful to achieve the objectives outlined above, which had to do with knowing the dynamics of the activities of the institution with respect to the development of children, although they could lose the focus with our presence, in this way, as a recommendation for the organizers of the activity, I would propose that the observations be given as separately as possible from the activities of the classes, so that there is little contact with the children avoiding distracting them .
As a conclusion of the experience, I would like to emphasize that the field work was very enjoyable and enriching for the knowledge that was expected, especially because we managed to get deeper into the most important field of children's development, where They educate themselves and spend their time.
