The demand for a public education, free and of quality, has been historically in the struggles of the people of Chile, taking more strength and popular adhesion since 2006. In spite of its important social support, this demand has faced the resistance of the economic interests of the current educational market. And this happens because achieving the social right to education is also a discussion about the development project of the country, since the neoliberal model includes education as a service that can be purchased and restricts state action to the delivery of subsidies (subsidies, scholarships, credits and many other contributions in money) aimed at the demand, treating citizens as consumers. THE REPORT

In the present report, I will present my fieldwork experience (which consisted of an observation) in the kindergarten called "el pinar”   of the San Joaquín commune." This visit was made with the aim of achieving an approach to the educational reality; know the characteristics of the same, establishing contact with the school environment and the institutional life that participates in an important way in the development of children. This work is done by presenting ourselves at the institution, with prior permission from the director of the establishment, where we record this experience in a notebook, in which we write in a table following the format that established an observation schedule, the description of our subjectivity as observers, the description of the facts and the initial hypotheses, this is called Field Note. Elevator Speech

Hello, I'm Catalina, I'm an expert student in clinical psychology. I have worked in a couple of researches about the psychological, social and cultural state of the people in our country. I learned a lot from the main psychiatric nosological entities, both in their expressions and in their etiologies, course and prognosis, together with the main theories and models used for their diagnostic and conceptual delimitation, as well as knowing the treatments used in clinical practice. BIODATA

Catalina Landa is a accounting technique (mid-level) and  is an undergraduate student of psychology at Universidad de Chile, who is currently in 4th semester.  She has worked in a consultant company as a student in practice of accounting where she got the best qualification. In the secondary, she received medals every year for having the best qualification of her class, she participated in two math competitions where her got the firs places with her school. Into of all things that he has learned since she got at university, she has always been interested in the social character that a psychologist could has, trying to get out of the close space of clinical psychology or this psychology that is practice into the lab, in this way, she won´t be a psychology cut off from social reality but one that will be committed with a problems that truly concern to a normal people, that is to say, be interested not only in individual problems but also in social problems.
